Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced IT Project Manager with exceptional managerial skills to lead our development team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both front-end and back-end development technologies and possess the ability to oversee and coordinate all aspects of web development projects. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving the development and maintenance of web applications, ensuring high performance, security, and user
experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Leadership
- Lead a team of developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise.
- Define technical requirements and architectural designs for web projects.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance development efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development and recommend adoption where appropriate.
2. Web Development Management
- Leading web development projects from conception to delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Coordinating with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and gather feedback.
- Managing a team of developers, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Implementing best practices and methodologies for efficient project execution and delivery.
3. Full Stack Development:
- Managing & Overseeing the Project Designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable web applications.
- Ensuring the team produces code that is organized, effective, and well documented while utilizing the right technologies.
- Collaborating with front-end and back-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
4. Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, product management, and quality assurance, to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Facilitate communication between team members to ensure alignment on project goals and priorities.
5. Quality Assurance
- Oversee & Ensure thorough testing and debugging of applications to identify improvements and deliver high quality solutions to clients.
- Establish and enforce quality assurance processes to maintain code integrity and application performance.
6. Technical advice & Consultation
Assisting in the recruitment and onboarding of additional development staff with skills as required.
- Providing mentorship and support to junior developers to foster their professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Proficient in the design, development, and implementation of websites and web applications using WordPress and variety of technologies including but not limited to:
- Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React, Angular, Vue.js)
- Backend: Node.js, PHP
- CMS: WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento, Shopify
- Databases: SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis)
- Cloud technologies: AWS, Azure
